BUSINESS INTERNET BANKING PAYMENTS

Overview

We helped CYBG to extended the functionality provided by their retail internet banking to replace their legacy business internet banking platform. A key part of this was to provide the more in-depth payment functionality required by corporate clients. This included batch and bulk payments, payments in international currencies, payment using different methods such as BACS, CHAPS and Faster Payments.

As with the retail banking project we initiated the project using research with business banking customers, and then undertook several rounds of design and usability testing.

Business internet banking customers range from small independent businesses to large corporate clients, so fundamental to the design of the payments system was the need for it to work sucessfully for a small one man band, all the way to a qualified specialist in a corporate environment.
